Litterati is the name of one of the world's smallest publishing houses, with an office and workshop adjacent to the furnace room in an abandoned warehouse. Here is where author/illustrator KEN EICHENBAUM plies his craft. When a manuscript is ready for the presses, dwarf-like farmers from nearby fields are rounded up and pressed into service in the workshop. By thus keeping production costs down, Ken is able to pocket more of the savings. These same Breugel-like employees have wizened old wives who have been trained to fill orders with dispatch, keeping the wheels of commerce spinning.
